Dreamy Summer Silhouettes (ft. Daniel Wellington)

SS16 wear is in full swing, and along with that have come a whole host of new summer silhouettes.

From off the shoulder to asymmetric to pyjama shirts, let’s be honest, we’ve all been shopping like mad. Zara are 100% ON.POINT. at the moment, and I’ve been stalking the TRF section in particular on the hunt for some beaut summer steals. I happened across this asymmetric number just before I set off for Budapest (where these shots were taken – travel post is coming shortly!) and I knew it would be perfect for wandering around in the sunshine and attempting to live a 100% Instagrammable life.

It’s available in blue stripes and white, but unfortunately both are sold out at the moment (legit check every day for the white version, I ain’t ashamed). There’s the gentle rebellion against the hugely popular Bardot with the one short sleeve, the single-layered frill detailing and the cropped (on a person of normal height) shape – it’s basically a summer silhouette dream. 

There’s something very classic and feminine about this piece, so in a move against my usual intricate silver detailing, I opted for big statement earrings that made me feel like a poor man’s Audrey Hepburn wandering around in the Hungarian sunshine (not sure those things all go together but that’s how I felt ok). And when it comes to accessories, nothing is more classic than a Daniel Wellington watch.
