Famously branded as the smallest ‘It’ bag around, the Simon Miller Bonsai has stolen the hearts of fashionistas around the globe, and I am one of many to fall under its spell. In particular, I’m lusting over the tan mini tote, which of course, seems to be sold out everywhere. Nonetheless the deep wine coloured alternative is just as beautiful, and once the madness of pre-Christmas work slows down, I’m pretty sure I’ll be treating myself to this little wonder. The Simon Miller Bonsai Mini is quite pricey at £305 so it’s well and truly a treat, but look at it, it’s worth it.
Priced at around £8-£12, Anthropologie mugs are both purse friendly and wonderfully pretty, making them the perfect stocking filler. There are tonnes of different styles including some fittingly festive designs, my favourite of which is this vintage Reindeer mug which will definitely be on my gift list. I actually already own the other two styles featured (so you know I’m a real fan), but I’ll definitely be fleshing out my collection with some newbies this year, if not only for the flat lay prop points.
I’m a sucker for anything that smells nice, and as we all know, Jo Malone is the queen of nice smelling things. My mum bought me the Velvet Rose & Oud perfume for my birthday and now I’m desperate for the matching candle to burn in my bedroom. The fragrance is quite heavy and decadent, so I’m also going to pick up some lighter scents. I’m a huge lover of floral scents so both the Peony & Blush Suede candle and the White Jasmine & Mint candle are perfect fits for me. If you have any recommendations then I always love a mini-review, so pop your personal favourites in the comments down below!
Etsy is the destination for personalised and unexpected gifts. I’m planning a ‘best of Etsy’ gift guide as it’s an absolute gold mine for finding presents, but of course, during my search, I found about a thousand things that I’d love to receive myself. I’ve already ordered the crochet letter cushion from The Letter Loft; as somebody who hoards cushions, I couldn’t refuse the opportunity to have a handmade C in the colour of my choice (honestly, I’m also excited about using the cushion in flat lays!).
Badly Drawn Celebs is another of my favourite Etsy shops – the illustrations are quirky, funny and actually pretty cool, and I’m hoping to get a number of famous faces in frames for when I move out. Finally, I stumbled across these beautiful leather mini journals, the colour of which you can choose yourself. Not only that, the Jackdaw Bindery shop boasts a range of leather journals that you can personalise to your hearts content, even having your favourite quote embroidered. I have a dusky pink CP baby coming my way.
Hush have released a series of gift sets this Christmas, and good Lord they look like the cosiest things ever. Some included loungewear, some nightwear and some lingerie, but all come with extra goodies like socks or chocolate. The lingerie gift box is is only £35 and features a matching set and a bar of Hush’s famous chocolate (milk rose?! yes please), so I’m thinking of ordering myself a little pre-Christmas stocking filler. It would be rude not too really, wouldn’t it?
The closer to Christmas it gets, the more time I find myself spending in pyjamas. I’m a daily ASOS browser and I’ve noticed as of late that their nightwear game has reached an all time peak; black and navy matching sets in particular seem to be having a real moment, and with luxe silky fabrics and soft patterns taking centre stage, I’m going to need to make some space in my PJ drawer ASAP. The blossom pair in particular have me all in a tizz, and have joined my saved items for the upcoming pay day.
