Afternoon Tea?

A couple of weeks ago, my best friend Jade and I drove down to the seaside for some afternoon tea and a well deserved gossiping session. I bloody love afternoon tea, so when Ocean Loans contacted me and said ‘have a relax on us’, I knew it was the number one thing I wanted to go. Riding solo is never fun of course, so I took Jade along for the best company possible.

We headed down to The White Lion in Aldeburgh for scones, lil’ rolls and an assortment of cakes (not to mention three gallons of tea). Whenever I go for afternoon tea I always have to request a vegetarian assortment so I can escape the salmon and ham concoctions, and the staff at The White Lion kindly obliged, even setting aside my bite sized choices on a different plate which is always greatly appreciated. The scones were absolutely delish and I was actually too full to try and conquer the cakes by the end, but everything was presented beautifully and my love for afternoon tea was proven right once again.

You’ll be seeing Jade again pretty soon as we’re working on a Boohoo collaboration together, so I’ll keep the soppy full length into until then. Also, if you have any recommendations for afternoon tea then please let me know!
