Every season I absolutely lose it for at least one type of clothing, and this season it was faux fur. As you guys will probably have been able to tell, I was hooked on anything with even a hint of texture to it. After filling my wardrobe to the brim with anything faux fur that I could get my hands on (coats, hats, scarves, bags, shoes – you name it, I got it), I finally thought I had reached the breaking point and that I was over it. Well NOPE. As soon as I put this dreeeeeeeamboat of a jacket back on I was smitten all over again. I really wanted to showcase this Bardot knit I picked up from Boohoo, and since the outfit was super minimal, I felt it was open to a little sassing up. I could hardly wear colour (chuh), so faux fur it was. I’m a sucker for Bardot cuts because my collarbone is probably just about the only part of my body that I actually like, but this jumper was a bit of a nightmare – could not get it to stay down off of my shoulders for the life of me. I’ve had this trouble with Bardot cuts before where I just can’t lift my arms up all day, but it was definitely something that tested my patience. Still hella cute though.
I’ve got some super super super super exciting projects in the pipeline already for the new year, so make sure you keep your eyes peeled to see what’s coming up! I always post everything to Instagram first, so if you don’t already, head on over and give me a lil’ follow: www.instagram.com/chloeplumstead.
